    Oven Method (Recommended)

For our meals, the oven delivers the best results every time. It gives our meals the most even heat, helping them cook beautifully all the way through without much fuss. Once it's in the oven, you can get on with the rest of dinner, or simply enjoy a well-earned break. And if you're adding a few veggies or some garlic bread alongside your meal, you've got the whole dinner sorted in one go.

    • From Frozen

A quick note: Not sure if your meal is ready? A clean knife makes an easy heat check. Insert it into the centre of the meal for a few seconds, then carefully remove it. If the knife is hot and the centre is steaming, you're good to go. If not, simply return the meal to the oven for another 5–10 minutes before checking again.

    • Defrosted

Defrosting your meal:For best results, defrost your meal overnight in the refrigerator. If you're short on time, you can also use your microwave's defrost setting. Once defrosted, follow the heating times below and make sure your meal is piping hot all the way through before serving.

    Air Fryer

Never use a silicone mat or liner underneath the foil tray. It blocks the airflow beneath the meal and can cause the foil container to burn through. Always place the tray directly on the air fryer basket.

Love using your air fryer? Good news, our meals can be heated in one too. Because our meals are generously portioned, they take a little longer to heat all the way through than smaller air fryer meals. With a few simple tips, you'll still get great results.

      Before You Begin

      1. Remove cardboard sleeve and plastic film.
      2. Cover the meal with foil.
      3. Preheat your air fryer.
      4. Place the foil tray directly in the basket.

      Cooking Note

Our 1.2kg meals require a large air fryer. If the tray doesn't fit comfortably without touching the heating element, we recommend using the oven instead.

Air fryers don't always heat evenly. If you notice one side browning faster than the other, simply rotate the meal halfway through cooking. Before serving, use the knife test to check that the centre is piping hot.

      • From Frozen

Start your meal at 150°C to gently warm it through to the centre, then increase the temperature to 180°C to finish heating.

Before serving, test with a knife to check that the centre is piping hot. If needed, continue heating in 5–10 minute intervals until the meal is heated all the way through.

      • Defrosted

Defrosted meals heat more quickly than frozen meals, but every air fryer is a little different. Heat your meal at 180°C until it's piping hot all the way through. Use the knife test to check the centre before serving, and if needed, continue heating in 5–10 minute intervals until ready.

      Stovetop

Best for Chicken A La King & Butter Chicken Curry

While all of our meals can be heated in the oven, Chicken A La King and Butter Chicken Curry are especially delicious on the stovetop. Gently reheating the sauce helps maintain its smooth, creamy texture and makes it easy to stir everything together before serving.

      Microwave

Our containers are microwave safe, but we don't recommend heating our meals this way. We've tested it ourselves, and while it certainly works, we don't believe it delivers the quality and flavour our meals are known for. If you're short on time, use your microwave's defrost setting first, then finish your meal in the oven or on the stovetop for the best results.
